New Staff joining Intova:  As Intova grows; systems and staff must change to meet new demands.  Towards that end, Intova just completed a major software upgrade that took 4 months to implement. We apologize for any disruptions in service.  We have also added 3 new staff members.

Jasmin Shinn will help with order processing, EDI, and AR.  Kevin Lackey is now heading our Customer Service department as well as Government Sales and Sales Administration.  William Matsumoto is our first dedicated Marketing professional and is developing new promotional materials and programs.  We welcome these hardworking new staff members and are excited by the additional talent they bring to the company.

Tactical Torch:  Developed for the US Army, our new Tactical Torch features a wide angle beam, silent tail switch (full/30%/strobe) and a 200 foot depth rating.  Designed to mount on a rifle barrel, the end cap and barrel are a consistent 1” diameter.  As the torch business continues to grow we are proud to be supporting our Armed Forces and have Comments 771many new models in development.

Photo Tips:  Light, Light, Light!!  Whether above or below water, light is the single most significant factor that will affect your photos.  Too much light and your photos wash out.  Not enough and they get grainy and blurry.  Outdoors, the sun is the most common source of light.  Above water, keep the sun to the front of the subject to avoid backlighting.  Underwater, try to shoot level or slightly downwards for the same purpose.  In past newsletters we have discussed how colors change with depth underwater and the value of an external strobe.  Above or below water, experiment with different strobe power outputs and diffusers to get just the right amount of light.
